Aged Brass Light Fixture

Am I obsessed with this Rub N Buff stuff? Yeah, maybe.

These gorgeous original copper, brass, and glass light fixtures in the library only work halfway (one side works on each). However, that’s plenty of light for the little room. This one has a new fixture and an original one, and the new one is the non-functional side!

At some point, we’ll replace it with a fixture that works, but in the meantime, I wanted to make everything match quickly. I used the Spanish copper color and covered the shiny brass (just like I did in the bathroom). I applied two coats with a rag, and voila! It’s not perfect, but it’s much better.

This stuff is so fun! I’m covering everything with it!
