Using the crock pot paint stripping technique, I was able to strip all the hardware on the laundry room windows (except the hinges). Upon moving in, we found that most of the hardware (including the chains) had been painted over so many times that it couldn’t even move. Many of the flathead screws were stripped, which caused some difficulty!
I reinstalled the hardware using brass screws, which I should have aged with my brass aging solution before installing. However, not to worry- a little Spanish Copper Rub N Buff did the trick!
